Brief CV

Annina Meyer-Vögeli attended schools in Schaffhausen, earned a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree of Law from the University of Zurich, and holds a PhD (summa cum laude) from the University of Zurich. Her PhD thesis was awarded the 2019 Successio Award.

During her studies Annina Meyer-Vögeli worked as a legal assistant at a law firm in Winterthur, completed an internship at the District Court of Bellinzona, and worked as a junior research assistant at the Chair in Private Law of Prof. Dr. Peter Breitschmid at the University of Zurich.

During her doctoral studies she worked as a research assistant at the Chair in Private Law of Prof. Dr. Peter Breitschmid and as the administrative director of the Swiss Bar Association’s certification study program for specialists in Inheritance Law.

After her two-year tenure as a clerk at the Cantonal Supreme Court of Schaffhausen, Annina Meyer-Vögeli spent one year on family leave. She continued to serve as a substitute judge at the Cantonal Court of First Instance of Schaffhausen and also obtained her admission to the bar. From then on, Annina Meyer-Vögeli has been working as an attorney at Strazzer Zeiter Rechtsanwälte AG, which has been consistently recognized as a top law firm in the field of inheritance and estate law in the attorney ranking of the business magazine Bilanz.
